Voices for National Service Capitol Hill Day

Service leaders representing 70 organizations met with more than 100 congressional offices to discuss the impact of national service programs in their communities. The national service leaders urged their elected officials to support federal funding for national service, and asked them to join the National Service Congressional Caucus.

In response to the encouragement of service leaders from their communities, Senator John McCain (R-AZ) and Representative Seth Moulton (D-MA) joined the National Service Congressional Caucus.

The Voices for National Service Capitol Hill Day is an annual event, typically held concurrently with the AmeriCorps State and National Symposium in Washington, DC.
