Take Action: Urge Congress to support the CORPS Act

Senators Chris Coons (D-DE) and Roger Wicker (R-MS) have reintroduced the CORPS Act, a bipartisan bill that would expand and strengthen AmeriCorps and AmeriCorps Seniors to help the country recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The bill would increase AmeriCorps member benefits, matching the investment that members make in their communities with a parallel investment in their financial stability and educational opportunity. These improvements are needed to make service more accessible and inclusive for all Americans.

Congress should support the CORPS Act and incorporate the legislation into any forthcoming economic recovery package.
