Thank you to those of you who joined us for the Friends of National Service Awards on April 26th, 2023!
The Friends of National Service Awards brings the national service community together to recognize leaders who have elevated AmeriCorps and service as a solution to some of the nation’s most pressing problems. This year, we celebrated an outstanding group of congressional champions and the 20th anniversary of Voices for National Service.
Voices for National Service was founded in 2003 at a time when the future of AmeriCorps was uncertain – and for the last 20 years, has worked with elected leaders to dramatically increase the federal investment in AmeriCorps and build strong, bipartisan public support for national service. It has been a remarkable 20 years, and the Friends of National Service Awards 2023 was a joyful celebration of our collective accomplishments. We are looking forward to working with you to continue strengthening and expanding opportunities to serve.
