Spending Bill Approximately Level-Funds All Government Functions for Three Months
President Trump signed a hurricane emergency aid package that also addresses the debt ceiling and government funding through early December. The spending bill avoids the threat of a government shutdown on October 1, when FY18 begins, and includes a short-term continuing resolution that extends funding at approximately FY17 levels for all of the functions of the federal government, including the Corporation for National and Community Service, through December 8, 2017.
