Celebrating 20 Years of AmeriCorps

In 1993, President Bill Clinton created AmeriCorps to channel the energy of young people toward addressing national challenges.  Twenty years later, we celebrate the accomplishments of the more than 900,000 Americans who have contributed more than 1.2 billion hour of service to their communities, as well as the outstanding support of bipartisan leaders throughout the program’s history.
